Tzedakah Opportunities

“Whosoever practices Tzedakah finds life, prosperity and honor.” –Talmud

In Hebrew the word for Charity is Tzedakah.  The Hebrew word has a much wider connotation than simply giving money to the poor.   It reflects the concepts of justice, kindness and honesty integral to the norms of behavior expected in one’s dealings with other people.

There are many reasons to make a donation to Temple Isaiah:

-to congratulate friends or family on a special simcha

-to remember the Yahrzeit of a relative or friend

-to show your sympathy for someone’s passing

-to help your congregation for any reason

                -to say Thank You

                -to say Mazel Tov

                -to say I Love You

                -to show You Care
