Programs- For Our Adult Members

Beginning Your Day with Meditation

KepaGuided meditation is just one way to access the deep place within your soul that yearns for the connection with God. Dr. Cindy Ward Sandler offers morning sessions of guided Jewish meditation. Each week will include a brief presentation of a concept and then a guided exercise. Previous experience is not a requirement and everyone is welcome.

Renaissance

Your kids are out of the house and things are a little quieter! You have the time now for renewing friendships and meeting new people. You would like to enjoy different pursuits and to seek new social and cultural involvements. This group is for you. A self-directed group that takes advantage of the rich resources of the Baltimore-Washington corridor to connect as Jewish adults.

Social Action

As a Reform synagogue, the Temple is committed to tikkun olam, repairing our fractured world. The Social Action Committee spearheads a variety of programs including an annual Blood Drive, a hospital shalach manot program, refurbishing housing through “Sukkot in April,” donating school supplies to needy students or providing tutorial assistance. The Committee meets once a month to formulate its action agenda and program of good deeds.

Temple Isaiah Choir

If you enjoy singing, this group is for you. Our volunteer choir sings primarily but not exclusively at Friday evening Shabbat services. New members are welcome as our new choir director Marshall Kohen is expanding the repertoire and trying a variety of arrangements. Singing is good for the soul, so give the choir a try!
